St. Cloud Beach II

The Gator stuff is all in fun, of course. "They" say there isn't a body of water in Florida where a Gator may not be, but, in fact, there have only been eighteen confirmed fatal alligator attacks in Florida since 1948.

So, UMA POR DIA, it's SAFE!! Put on that orange bikini and let's go to the beach!

I do like your photos and reading the minds of the people and sometimes birds. Keep up the good work. Do you have a ranch? MB

Ben: The gentleman is searching for rings, coins, etc. I saw him in the water, scanning the the bottom of the lake! I like #5 too!

MB: Thank you, you are always so kind. I sold my ranch in 2003 ... had it for about seven years or so, and absolutely loved it. Things change!

Excellent photos and bubble comments George!
Aren't gators found in swamps and/or places where there's lots of wildlife? Are they in fresh water lakes too? Sorry I don't know very much about them.

Quintarantino: It could be!!! Those girls were definitely cooking themselves, lol.

Janice: They are found in swamps, lakes, rivers ... anywhere there is water. I've seen them in Lake Toho and on the St John River, and recently there was one in a man-made pond behind the local supermarket - till animal control relocated it. They do prefer swamps, though. Every once in awhile we hear about one coming out of a canal down south just to crab a dog, which is being walked by its owner.

Hummm...
What about Lake Toho? Can I use my bikini there?

George Townboy said...

Uma Por Dia: Sure!! As long as you are on a boat or on ground, lol. I've never seen a human in the water on Lake Toho. The beach at St Cloud is on East Lake Toho, most of my pictures are taken on West Lake Toho, also called Big Toho. But ... you, and your bikini, are welcome anywhere in Florida!!

Joy: Nothing scares me!! LOL

No, alligators don't scare me, because there really aren't that many around. If they were jumping out at people all the time, I might worry for my loved ones ... but I still wouldn't be scared. I'm George Townboy, after all. LOL
