A Redhead In Celebration

I went to Celebration this morning and decided to walk a trail I've been driving past every time I go there. There are trails all over the town, and apparently they ultimately lead to the lake in the downtown area.

1) The beginning of the trail I took - a cement walkway.
2) Wetlands are bridged by wooden walkways.
3) A beautiful woodpecker that I came upon suddenly - she was at the bottom of a big pine when I rounded the bend, and I scared her. She landed on the tree you see here and I took a quick shot before she flew off. (The subject is more important than the quality of the photo! LOL)
4) The trails lead into neighborhoods, many with parks and ponds. This burned out house was by a pond where I found this ...
5) Great Blue Heron, standing very still in the water. He didn't move the entire time I was there. You can see the water is dirtied by the ash from the fire.

Celebration Exotic Car Festival

I went to the Exotic Car Festival in Celebration both Saturday and Sunday, long enough to get a few shots of these beautiful cars to show you. See more on the Celebration site.

Could that be George himself reflected in the Bugatti?

Absolutely Adorable

The man in the modern-day wheelchair and the ducklings have a very special relationship. They love him as much as he loves them. They let him stroke their beaks as he fed them, and showed no fear at all. He was feeding them dry dog food. I didn't get his name ... I used "John" in the balloon because it sounded good.

2) I really asked them to point at the lake for me! They were so pleasant. Thank you ladies ... if you happen to stumble upon this post. (The lake is substituting for the ocean today, I wasn't able to go to the beach, lol.)
3) Three beauties! They were wonderful! And I thank them too for being so kind. I always run into beautiful women in this city! (Have I mentioned that before?)

Waiting For The Sun

The young man was struggling to stay warm and awake while his father set up the stand at the Celebration Farmer's Market, March 9, 2008.

You normally find two, three, four or more photos, along with some captions, on my daily posts, but every so often I come across a photo that I think should be posted alone, so that nothing else distracts from it. This is one of those photos.
