Choo Choo - A Trip To The Train Station







1) The Silver Meteor arriving from south Florida.
2) This is how I discovered the locomotive weather vane.
3) Hardly anyone checks a bag.
4) Empty waiting room. It was a nice breezy day.

Reflections!! Look what good things you can find in them. Nice train pics. I was on an Amtrc only once. they sure are not like the trains you see in the old movies. MB

Trains are pretty much a thing of the past here - we still have lots of freight trains but very few passenger ones. I love the sound of them.
Great series of shots again.

MB: I've never been on an Amtrak train that I can remember. When I was a kid I took the train a few times, but that was before Amtrak.

Carletta: Thank you - "Big Blue" was a pleasant surprise.

Janice: Thanks! I thought trains were pretty much a thing of the past here too, but this one seems pretty popular and it is a lot cheaper than driving between Central and South Florida. This particular train goes all the way to the Northeast everyday.
