Flying High

I noticed the city spiffed up this flag pole for the Memorial Day weekend! The pole stands at the entranceway to the Kissimmee Lighthouse. The small flags are City Of Kissimmee (left) and State Of Florida (right).

Whats the draw of the kissimmee flag?

Coca: These poles are popular in municipalities because they can fly all three flags at once, acknowledging city, state, and country.

Ok, But whats is the Kissimmee flag? A fisherman? Mickey? the blue heron?

MB: Thank you!! I've been trying to get a decent shot of these flags for a while.

Coca: Now I know why you are a perpetual student! Did I shoot myself without knowing it?

I had already noticed that today were are a bit shuffled! Tomorrow I'll ask you about the flag again.

I found it ... it's a picture of the lake, two palm trees on the right, and a cow on the left. That's what Kissimmee is, or was, known for ... cattle production.

That's an interesting effect. Makes the sky seem solid and ominous.
