I had some business to take care of in south Florida yesterday, so I took the opportunity to go by Jensen Beach, on the Treasure Coast, to get a few pictures. It was overcast, cool, extremely windy, but there were some die-hards out there having fun.
Love these. Especially the last one and of course the comment on the third one that it's for your blog!
George, thanks for comment on Menton. Take a look again - you'll see I've discovered the band is from Cancun, Mexico. Send me your address tho and I'll send you a postcard for a good try!
Hi, I love the fence picture with the breaking waves in the back and those clouds! It suggests isolation - something I love on a beach. ... and romance like the Summer of 42 movie. Wish I were there now!
Oh... how nice, the beach!!! Is that you taking a photo on the beach??
(today i'm working at home on my IRS declarations... God, please help me... it's quite cozy, with the fireplace on, and it is so hard to deal with these horrible papers...)
Oh yes a walk along the beach would be lovely and thankfully I don't have far to go. I'd love to see the turtles - there are none here. The last photo is awesome and looks great with this style of processing. Enjoy your trip.
Carletta: I actually took that at a more secluded part of the beach! You picked it right up!
Daniel: Well, every day isn't like that!! Should be though! LOL
Sailor Girl: No, that isn't me. I'm much cuter, stronger, smarter, and I dress better. LOL!! I feel for you ... taxes!! Take them away, please!
Janice: Thank you so much ... the fence photo was THE favorite. I believe these turtles only come out of the water at night and lay their eggs in the 'protected' dunes. Don't quote me on that though!
Clueless: Thank you too! Still breezy, but in the upper 80's!
Uma por Dia: I sense a pattern developing here! I post and you make me laugh, lol.
I have a niece who was a lifeguard at the beach .....tough job.. I learned so much from her.....not that I am much of an ocean swimmer!!(jaws ruined the ocean for me!) Love your comments! And the fence looks like some of our snow fences up north! Nice photos.
Neva: There are quite a few shark attacks in Florida every year! But, usually only at beaches I will not frequent, lol. These two lifeguards had nothing to do - nobody was in the water, as it was way too rough.

Is it windy all over the world today? It's really been blowing up a storm (really) here too.
I'm only sorry I couldn't feel the wind at Jensen Beach.
So John went with you to Jensen Beach. He seems like a nice guy. I like the fence. MB
Annie: Me too! And yes, the wind has been bad everywhere!
Small City Scenes: LOL ... John and I have become such friends! Thank you, I like it too!

Great pictures. I too especially like the fence picture with the clouds and the lonely sea in the background.
Hope the weather is better today in Kissississimmeee than in the Old Towne.
Using the camera at the same time you was using yours again :)
Ducks, alligatores, turtles...
Jilly: LOL, thank you!
Quintarantino: Lucky me! LOL

Diehards are my kind of people. Makes me wish for some flip flops, sunglasses and a wide-brimmed hat.
That's the time to be on the beach :) when hardly anyone else is. I envy you that in Florida.
Now, where did I pack that bathing suit.
