Hudson Beach, One

I took a quick run by Hudson Beach, on the Gulf Of Mexico, this morning because I just love to show you as much of Florida as possible.

1) The beach is rather small and lies at the entrance to the canal system.
2) View of the gulf ... swimming is not allowed on this frontage.
3) View from the observation deck of the Gazebo seen in the first photo, with Skeleton Key Marina in the distance.
4) The recipe the girl in picture #1 found in her book.

Why no swimming? Sharks? Gators? Or people getting in the way of boats?

Boy oh boy are those people getting tan. Yes why is that lovely beach and sparkling water not being used for swimming?
Didn't Granny on Beverly Hillbillies make squirrel stew? I'll pass on that one. MB

Janice: The boats go out right along this stretch of waterfront. It doesn't seem like much of a beach though, in any case, lots of rocks. Re: Header, thanks!!

MB: I thought that recipe would be right up your alley!

Julie: I knew you would appreciate it! LOL

La Passionnée Thank you so much!! I've been missing you!! Bad me.

Quintarantino: LOL ... who needs swimming when you have those beauties to lie down next to? I hope this is a joke recipe - I would never eat a squirrel!

Uma Por Dia: Squirrels everywhere!! I had one also ... rescued it, and loved it! She used to run all over me, sort of like running up and down a tree trunk. Sharp little nails though ... ouch!

I know Kissimmee is your beat but I would love to see your take on the Winter Park Farmers Market. I always wonder what all those people are thinking.

Uma Por Dia: Sadly, I don't have any pictures of her!!

Neva: I hardly notice the humidity now ... I did when I first moved here though!

RC: I was actually thinking about driving up there one Saturday to do just that!
